The Detroit Pistons wrapped up their primary free agency goal early, agreeing to terms with backup point guard Ish Smith. NBA free agency began at 12:01 Friday morning. Smith should spend the next three seasons backing up Reggie Jackson, a role occupied by Steve Blake last season. Financial terms were not immediately available. Detroit will be the 10th stop in Smith’s six-year career.
