Supreme Court Won’t Hear SCIT Labor Case

The United States Supreme Court declined to hear a case involving a dispute between the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe and the National Labor Relations board. The Tribe battled the NLRB for years over efforts from employees to unionize, which is legal under federal law, but banned by the Tribe. The Tribe will likely start to negotiate with labor organizations and the NLRB in the future.
