Two offenses shined on Thursday night as the Great Lakes Loons held on for a 7-6 victory over the Lansing Lugnuts at Dow Diamond. Michael Boyle pitched six very strong innings of three hit, three walk no run baseball with eight strikeouts. Ivan Vieitez proved no lead is safe, however, surrendering four runs in the 9th for the Loons. Home runs from Logan Landon and Ariel Sandoval provided the Loons with the cushion they needed to secure the victory.
