36-year-old Cory Theis, an Isabella County Jail inmate, has died from his injuries after attempting suicide last week. Theis was waiting to be sentenced on convictions of first-degree home invasion and breaking and entering. He had also been convicted of other crimes, including stealing a financial transaction device in Kent County, and breaking and entering a vehicle in Saginaw County in the late 90s.
