The Central Michigan Chippewas defeated Oakland 8-4 Wednesday at Jimmy John’s Field in Utica. Daniel Jipping and Jason Sullivan each hit two-run home runs in the win. Michael Brettell started, allowing one hit over three innings for the Chippewas.
