If you’re looking for a end-of-summer getaway, think about heading up-north to one of the country’s top-ranked ski areas for all the views! For the first time, Mount Bohemia is offering its chairlift rides on a regular summer schedule. This means you can see those spectacular views from the top of the ski resort without having to hike uphill. From the top you’re able to see several lakes – including the lovely Lac La Belle, the vastness of Lake Superior, and the thick Keweenaw Peninsula forests. You can ride the chairlift up, then hike downhill. You can also ride the lift up, explore the area around the resort’s peak, then ride back down when you’re ready. The rides are offered Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. through October 13th.
