A crash that remains under investigation killed one person in Isabella County Saturday afternoon. Just after 5 p.m., police responded to a report of a crash on Winn Road near Elias Street in Beal City. A Volkswagon, driven by a 20-year-old man, was going south on Winn Road before getting into the opposite lane, striking a GMC Envoy. A 77-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman from Lansing were in the Envoy at the time of the crash. Both of them were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Police learned that the woman died at the hospital. The man driving the Volkswagen was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
