Patients who’ve opted to receive text messages from MyMichigan Health will soon see a new number popping up on their phone screens. MyMichigan is switching its Text Messaging Service to Epic’s “Hello World” application, offering more timely delivery and better integration with the patient’s electronic record and communication preferences. Depending on the patient’s mobile phone plan, message and data rates may apply.
