Brian Setzer has released “Black Leather Jacket,” another new track from his upcoming album, The Devil Always Collects.
Guitar World described it as “pure roadside bar sleaze in the best way… with strutting Chuck Berry-gutter riffs.”
Setzer talked about writing the song and said that the lyrics are about his jacket that he got when he was 18. He said, “Black leather jackets are very personal things. They’re something you keep. You don’t get rid of those.”
The 3-X Grammy winner will release his new album on September 15 and then 2 weeks later, he’ll kick off his first tour in four years.
