A Mecosta County woman was killed over the weekend, following a head-on, 2-vehicle accident. The Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office said the 58 year old female from Lake was travelling E on E. Wheatland Avenue when she lost control of her vehicle; hitting a 55 year old female from Blanchard, head-on. The Blanchard woman was taken to the hospital with injuries & the woman from Lake, succumbed to her injuries, on-site. The investigation into this crash, is on-going.
