A woman charged with involuntary manslaughter and child abuse in Midland, must resolve several felony charges in Clark Co., Indiana, before she can be extradited. 25 year old, Kayla Ames, remains lodged in Clark Co jail.  The involuntary manslaughter charge stems from the September 2021 death of her infant son.
