Who says you can be too old to grace the cover of one of the world’s most infamous publications? 81-year-old Martha Stewart revealed yesterday that she’s the cover model of Sports Illustrated’s 2023 Swimsuit Issue.
The chef and lifestyle celebrity unveiled the news yesterday during an appearance on the “Today” show. “I like that picture,” admitted Stewart before quickly adding that she was “sort of shaking.” In the shoot, Stewart sports a white bathing suit coupled with an orange cover-up.
The shoot, which took place in the Dominican Republic, features the celebrity in ten different looks- including a red Norma Kamali one-piece. And with that, Stewart becomes the oldest person ever featured on SI’s swimsuit cover, which she herself admits is “kind of historic.” Check out Today’s reveal on the right.
