Mt Pleasant Fire Dept responded to a house fire on Friday afternoon, in the 1100 block of Bellows. The two story residence suffered fire, heat & heavy smoke damage to the 2nd floor. It was put out just as school was letting out. Residents were home at the time of the fire but everyone got out safe. The cause of the fire is being investigated!
