The final autopsy and toxicology report for Anne Heche has been released, and it showed that there was cocaine in her bloodstream. The coroner’s office did make it clear that there was no evidence of the actress being impaired at the time of her fatal car crash; what was detected by the tests was an inactive metabolite of cocaine. The toxicology report also found fentanyl in her urine, but it was determined that the drug was given to her in the hospital. No alcohol was found in her system.
