Lightning is believed to have caused a fire Monday night that heavily damaged a Sanford home and scorched another structure. Jerome Township Fire Chief Jake Cole says the home wasn’t a total loss, but pretty close. The owners of the home also own Midland’s Papa Johns franchise & are believed to be staying with neighbors at this time. No injuries were reported.
