Mt Pleasant city commissioners on Monday unanimously agreed to another ice skating season at Island Park. The commission approved no more than $7,000 and city manager Aaron Desentz said it was a high figure. They also approved the purchase of the rink, installation, labor, water, supplies & other costs last year, but wasn’t until Jan 7th, which made it a shorter season.
