Elton John had to make an emergency landing after his private jet suffered “hydraulic failure” at an altitude of ten-thousand feet. The 74-year-old “Rocketman” was en route from England to New York yesterday when the plane made a U-turn over the Atlantic Ocean and headed back to the UK. According to reports, John’s jet was buffeted by 80-mile-an-hour winds on the way back, making landing difficult. The jet was finally able to land on its third attempt. Elton John was reportedly shaken by the ordeal, but caught a later flight to New York.
