Today is Star Wars Day – May the Fourth be with you! Disney-Plus is celebrating May 4th with some special streaming content, including an unlikely crossover of “Star Wars” and “The Simpsons”!
Along with the previously announced debut of “Star Wars: The Bad Batch,” “Star Wars” fans should tune in to Disney-Plus for “Maggie Simpson in The Force Awakens From Its Nap.” The short officially premieres at 3pm ET.
“In a daycare far, far away… but still in Springfield, Maggie is on an epic quest for her stolen pacifier,” the “Star Wars”-style synopsis reads. Her adventure brings her face-to-face with young Padawans, Sith Lords, familiar droids, Rebel scum, and an ultimate battle against the dark side, in this original short celebrating the Star Wars galaxy.”
- What else is on for Star Wars Day? You can take a virtual trip to some of the franchise’s most iconic locations – like Hoth, Tatooine, and Sorgan – with “Star Wars Biomes,” and explore the films’ famous ships with “Star Wars Vehicle Flythroughs.”
