Looks like there’s a “House Party” reboot in the works – courtesy of LeBron James. His SpringHill Company is teaming up with New Line to bring the comedy back to the big screen 30 years after the fact.

Unfortunately, Christopher “Kid” Reid and Christopher “Play” Martin won’t be back for the new one. Jorge Lendeborg Jr. and Tosin Cole are currently in negotiations to play their characters.

Warrington Hudlin, who produced the original, will be among the producers, but his brother Reginald, will be the executive producer. At this point, there’s no plot. We’ll keep you posted on this one…
