There’s even more coming out about Joss Whedon’s allegedly toxic and abusive behavior on the set of “Justice League.” In a bombshell new report from “The Hollywood Reporter,” he’s accused of clashing big time with Wonder Woman Gal Gadot… allegedly going as far as threatening her career.
A source tells the outlet that Gadot was just one of many actor suffering alleged abuse at the hands of the director. Apparently, they clashed over some lines she wasn’t comfortable with, and Whedon told her to “shut up and say the lines” or he’d “make her look incredibly stupid in this movie.”
The source claims the spat got so heated that they ended up in a sit-down with then Warner Bros chai Kevin Tsujihara. In a statement, Gadot confirms she had “issues” with Whedon, which Warner Bros “handled in a timely manner.” Whedon declined to comment.
- Ray Fisher, who has been vocal about the alleged abuse from Whedon, also speaks out in the report. He recalls an incident where Whedon mocked him after he was apprehensive about recording the line “booya,” which Fisher compared to stereotypical black catchphrases like Gary Coleman’s “whatchoo talkin’ about Willis.”
