Mecosta County Sheriff’s Deputies were busy Wednesday morning after responding to a call about a struck truck in Aetna Twp. When they arrived, Al Thompson from Newaygo got in his truck, tried to get away and threatened to shoot himself. They arrested Thompson for assaulting an officer and operating under the influence of meth.
