Troopers from the Michigan State Police Mt. Pleasant Post were sent to a home on South Mission Road in Shepherd for the report of a mother who had a cord wrapped around her two-month-old baby’s neck.
On Feb. 4, Troopers arrested the mother, 21-year-old Skyler Warner of Shepherd. She has been arraigned and police are still investigating.
