A 45-year-old Mt. Pleasant man is in jail after allegedly pushing his roommate’s head into a refrigerator and threatening to behead and gut him. That man was just in the psychiatric ward a week ago. The incident capped off two days of disputes between the two. The other roommate said he was just making a bowl of cereal when the other man came up behind him and shoved his head in the fridge.
