As we previously reported, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend tragically lost their third child, a son they planned to name Jack, back in September. In the couple’s first joint interview since, the couple opens up about healing from their “complete and utter grief,” and how they’ve grown stronger than ever because of it.
Appearing on “Good Morning America” yesterday, Teigen says “every day is so different” as they navigate the loss. Her go-to when people ask how she’s doing? “I’m okay, today.” Since revealing the tragic news, the couple says they’ve received “thousands of letters” from others who have experienced the same loss… and Legend commends his wife for being “courageous enough” to share her story in a way that meant “so much to so many people.”
Between their personal tragedy and the global coronavirus pandemic, Teigen and Legend say the “oupouring of love and concert” has been “truly heartening and lifting.” “The world is inherently good. I believe people are inherently good, and it’s shown itself,” Teigen added. “As hard as it was, it is beautiful to see this side of it.”
