The comedian revealed that his team had been contacted to possibly fill in for the late Alex Trebek, who passed away earlier this month from pancreatic cancer. He tweeted that when his people called to ask him about it, “I could barely spit out, “WHAT IS…YES? quick enough.” He added, “I hope this can happen. I would love to honor Alex Trebek in that fashion!”
As we told you, Ken Jennings will be first one to fill the slot starting in January.
