As we previously told you, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom announced last month they were expecting their first child together, and now they’ve revealed the child’s gender.
Katy posted a photo of Orlando’s face covered in pink frosting, simply writing, “💕 it’s a girl 💕.”
Meanwhile, a source tells People the couple is thrilled to be expecting a daughter. “They are both so excited about having a baby. They are also ecstatic that it’s a girl,” he insider notes. “They love that they have this amazing, positive thing to focus on right now. It’s such a happy distraction for them.”
While this is the first child for Katy and Orlando, Orlando is already dad to 10-year-old son Flynn with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
