The Royal “Fab Four” may be officially disbanded, but they have one thing in common as coronavirus causes uncertainty across the globe: hope. Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, Prince William and Kate Middleton have made their first official statements on the ongoing health concerns.
Taking to their Sussex Royal Instagram, Meghan and Harry urges the public to move forward with “empathy and kindess” as they navigate coronavirus. To do their part, the two are promising to share “information and resources,” post “accurate information and facts from trusted experts,” and work with organizations “that can support our mental and emotional well-being.”
“These are uncertain times. And now, more than ever, we need each other,” the statement reads. “We will focus on the inspiring stories of how so many of you around the world are connecting in ways big and small to lift all of us up.”
In Wiliam and Kate’s statement posted to Kensington Royal, the couple focuses on how local United Kingdom communities are helping those affected by the virus, highlighting the National Emergencies Trust.
“Whenever and wherever adversity strikes, the people of the United Kingdom have a unique ability to pull together,” the statement reads. “The way that local communities support those affected shows the very best of our values and human nature.”
Before any work gets done, both couples are doing the most they can to protect their children at home. Kate and William’s kids Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be learning from home as their schools reportedly switch to remote learning amid coronavirus.
