Isabella County is now officially in a state of emergency because of the COVID-19 virus. County Chairman George Green signed the declaration before Tuesday night’s meeting. The last time the county was in a state of emergency was following the flooding of June, 2017. This time, the lead agency will be the Central Michigan District Health Department. The declaration isn’t official until it is certified by the governor.
