Last week Thrilling Thursdays in downtown Mt Pleasant got off to a fantastic start with yogapalooza. The Rebloom Community Center for Wellness did a great job bringing their environment from their studio on Michigan Street to town center. If you missed it; there was henna tattoos, cranio sacral therapy, yoga, astrology and life coaching. Green Tree coop provided excellent refreshments via their smoothie bike. If you missed it, it was a great time, but don’t worry you can contact or stop by Redbloom anytime.
This Thursday is going to be thrilling for sure with Let’s Ride! The Mt Pleasant Police Department, Mt Pleasant Optimist Club, My1043, and Downtown Mt Pleasant put together a night of fun and safety tips for all bikers in Mt Pleasant. It’s the law for drivers to register their vehicles, but did you know you can register your bike? If your bike is lost or stolen, it’s much easier to identify. There will also be awesome bike art to decorate your bike, helmet, gloves, or whatever.
The optimist club devised bicycle skill course, helmet giveaways and lots of other fun activities and will also be giving away four kids bikes! And stop by for free hot dogs for participants!
After you check out “Let’s Ride,” the Max and Emily’s Summer Concert Series kicks off with singer songwriter Olivia Millerschin. Bring your chair to stick around for the first free outdoor show of the season.
And mark your calendar for next Thursday June 30th, for the community water fight! Grab your super soaker and make your way downtown for a start time at 6:45! Come take on the My1043 crew and the folks from downtown Mt Pleasant in an epic water battle. There will be water gun giveaways and lots of other prize giveaways from 6:00 to 6:45.
Thrilling Thursdays, another reason to make downtown Mount Pleasant your place for good times this summer! #destinationdowntownmp
