They say timing is everything, right? Pamela Anderson and new husband Jon Peters can attest to that. The two tied the knot in a secret Malibu wedding on Monday. It was the fifth marriage for both. Is this time the charm? Maybe.
The first time the pair dated, it didn’t end in marriage, despite Peters asking. That’s right – these two dated more than 30 years ago, after Peters met Anderson in the mid-’80s at the Playboy Mansion. Anderson turned down Peters’ proposal. His response was somewhat of a prophecy — he now remembers saying to her, “In 30 years, our age difference won’t mean so much.” Maybe not – he’s 74 and she’s 52.
Either way, the new/old flames are clearly feeling the love. “There are beautiful girls everywhere. I could have my pick, but – for 35 years – I’ve only wanted Pamela,” he says. ‘She makes me wild -in a good way.’ And rather than giving a statement regarding her wedding, Anderson offered a poem, which you can read in full HERE. But in short? “I’m ready now and he’s ready too…we love each other without conditions,” she writes. “I’m a lucky woman. –Proof God has a plan.”
