After making headlines for his stand-up bits about R. Kelly and his ex-Ariana Grande, Pete Davidson is protecting his jokes. According to Variety, he’s been handing out non-disclosure agreements before his recent gigs.

Basically, sign a lengthy contract promising you won’t tweet or ‘Gram any opinions about Davidson’s routine, or shell out $1-million. That’s the terms of his NDA according to attendees of his recent show in Sydney, Australia, and sources say the same contract was handed out at Davidson’s Saturday gig in Chicago.

One fan, Stacy Young, has shared screenshots of the alleged NDA on Facebook. After refusing to sign, Young says she was given a full refund and that’s it – no info on whether the NDA was for the sake of an upcoming comedy special, nothing. “I didn’t want to sign it because it was basically saying that I wasn’t able to comment on it or have an opinion,” she tells Variety.
