Kelly and his “interests” have been the stuff of legend, plenty of jokes – and sometimes, criminal investigations. Now? One of his staunchest supporters – Joycelyn Savage – may have finally turned on him.
Savage and Azriel Clary have previously released videos, made supportive statements – and even given interviews – claiming their relationship with Kelly was genuine. But over the weekend, Savage appears to be singing a different tune. Taking first to her Instagram account, then linking to a page on Patreon.com, Savage offered a “first chapter” and calls herself a “victim” of Kelly’s sexual and psychological abuse.
She claims Kelly’s charms soon turned “controlling” and that she was constantly monitored – even having an assistant keep watch on her as she showered.
While Savage’s family isn’t confirming the posts are “hers,” Kelly’s lawyer seems to believe they’re the real deal. “It is unfortunate that Jocelyn now seeks to make money by exploiting her long time, loving relationship with Robert,” Kelly’s attorney Steve Greenberg says in a statement. “Obviously if she were to tell the truth no one would pay so she has, unfortunately, chosen to regurgitate the stories and lies told by others for her own personal profit….”
