Jennifer Garner may be on Instagram, but her 13-year-old daughter isn’t. That’s because she won’t allow Violet to have an account. She was discussing the situation on the Next Question with Katie Couric podcast.
The ex-Mrs. Ben Affleck told their daughter, “When you can show me studies that say that teenage girls are happier using Instagram than not, then we can have the conversation.” According to everything she’s seen, there’s nothing positive on the app for teen girls. Instead, Jennifer says that she lets Violet have access to her account. “You can look at mine when you want to, we can go over it together, but I just don’t see it,” she added.
