The Battle Creek Police Department and the community’s Substance Abuse Council found two violations when conducting tobacco compliance checks earlier this week. One of the two violations involved the sale of tobacco to an underage decoy sent out by the department. The second violation identified by police involved an alleged illegal sale of marijuana. Police received a tip that a tobacco shop was illegally selling liquid THC cartridges out of Battle Creek.
