- Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli are doing everything they can to protect their daughters in the college admissions scandal.
- One of the girls is under criminal investigation.
- They want to see what the prosecution has on them.
Lori Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, have entered not guilty pleas to charges of mail fraud and money laundering conspiracy. However, they might change their minds to protect their daughters.
In case you missed it, one of their daughters – either Isabella or Olivia – is under criminal investigation in the case. Also, several other students got “target letters” from federal investigators who think they’ve been complicit in their parents’ alleged acts. Lori and Mossimo have every reason to believe their girls could be targets of prosecution and they’re taking that into account as they proceed with the case.
“Lori will not do anything to put her daughters in harm’s way,” the source shared. “She is like a mama bear when it comes to the girls, and she will do whatever she has to do to protect them from prosecution, especially malicious prosecution. Her top priority in all of this is to protect her daughters.” The source went on to say that the prosecution could charge the girls in an attempt to get the parents to plead guilty. So far, investigators have not disclosed any information that they may or may not have that would implicate either one of the daughters.”
- That’s probably why Lori and Mossimo and some of the other defendants want to know exactly what the prosecutors have before they proceed. They’re asking to see the evidence against them and they’d like to put things on hold until that happens. According to the paperwork, they want the judge to suspend all motions by the government in the case until the scheduled hearing on June 3rd. They want to see the evidence so they’ll know how to proceed.
