Dr. Phil has been sued by one of his most popular guests. Josie Goldberg is asking for her fair share after being featured in at least three additional episodes after her initial 2010 appearance on an episode called, “Spoiled and Entitled.”
Goldberg came on the show two weeks after her first appearance, and then again in 2011, 2014 and 2017. The final episode, checking in on her life since being on the show, has raked in over two-million views on YouTube. As a SAG-AFTRA performer, Goldberg says that she’s entitled to around $10,000 thanks to reruns.
But that’s not all – she’s also suing Dr. Phil’s wife, Robin McGraw, for the same amount. Goldberg claims that during one of the episodes, another guest told her to “go get mental help at the Bob Hope Center” and Robin gave the comment a “thumbs up.” Robin being “a woman of power and privilege,” Goldberg says she’s been refused work because of that.
