Don Cheadle was the host on this weekend’s edition of “Saturday Night Live.” When he introduced musical guest, Gary Clark Jr., he made a powerful statement with his T-shirt, “Protect Trans Kids.” It’s well known that Cheadle isn’t a fan of President Trump or his policies.
Speaking of Trump, he was NOT happy about skit on this weekend’s show. Alec Baldwin showed up to skewer him on his emergency declaration. In response, he took to Twitter to slam the sketch show. “How do the networks get away with these total Republican hit jobs without retribution?” he asked. “Very unfair and should be looked into. This is the real collusion!” He followed that up with, “THE RIGGED AND CORRUPT MEDIA IS THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!”
Alec Baldwin – who plays Trump on the sketch show – responded to the president’s latest shot. “I wonder if a sitting President exhorting his followers that my role in a TV comedy qualifies me as an enemy of the people constitutes a threat to my safety and that of my family?” he asked.
- ONE MORE THING! John Mulaney will be hosting the March 2nd episode, with Thomas Rhett doing musical duty.
