Gretchen Whitmer is the new Governor of Michigan, beating out Bill Schuette. Debbie Stabenow will keep her Senate Seat. And unofficial results are in, showing Michigan will legalize recreational marijuana after the passing of Proposal 1. Proposals 2 and 3 also passed in the Tuesday Election.
Democrats concede that Republicans will keep control of the Michigan House of Representatives, continuing their eight-year run leading the chamber.
