Will Smith teases new “Aladdin” movie: Will Smith gave movie fans the first peek at the upcoming live-action “Aladdin” film. The actor, who plays the Genie in the film, debuted the movie’s poster, which shows a magic lamp emitting wisps of blue smoke and the slogan “Choose wisely.”
Smith shared the photo on social media, writing “LEMME OUT!! Can’t wait for y’all to see Me BLUE!”
Smith, of course, is taking over the role made famous by Robin Williams in the animated original. Disney’s live-action “Aladdin” hits theaters in May.
