Word of the giant 25-foot statue of Jeff Goldblum that was erected in London back in July has finally reached the man himself.

In a recent interview, Goldblum is asked whether he’s seen the impressive statue depicting his famous open-shirt pose from “Jurassic Park.” “It was lovely, I liked that whole statue,” he says. “I don’t know what it looked like in the flesh, or in the concrete, I didn’t see it. I saw pictures of it.”

The actor also expresses his hopes that more people will have the opportunity to check out the statue. “I think they took it down, but isn’t it making a tour, of some kind?” he muses. “Like the treasures of the tomb of King Tutankhamun? I hope so.”

So far there’s no word on whether the statue will reappear in any other cities, but we’ll keep you Jeff Goldblum fans posted.
