Season six of Brooklyn Nine-Nine is set to air on NBC sometime during the 2018-2019 season after being cancelled by Fox.
Creators of the cop comedy starring Andy Samberg and Andre Braugher are saying the show will feature more socially issue-oriented episodes. One such episode will address sexual assault-harassment and the #MeToo movement.
The show has a connection to the movement, as star Terry Crews accused an entertainment industry executive of sexual assault last year.
The 13 episode show will air in the Fall, but will debut on NBC later in the season.
