“Game Of Thrones” Prequel Gets The Greenlight – The “Game of Thrones” community is abuzz after HBO gave producer Jane Goldman the green light to begin producing a pilot for a prequel series.
This is the latest of five projects to come from the “Game of Thones” universe, with this one taking place thousands of years before the era of Westeros. Goldman co-created the project with George R.R. Martin and is known for her work on “Stardust,” “Kick Ass,” and both “Kingsman” movies. No release date has been set.
And yes, Martin is onboard too. The series will show the world’s descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour and give us the backstories of Westeros.
