A Mt. Pleasant priest & retired teacher has died. Father Donald E. Henkes, passed on Tuesday at the age of 83. He came to Sacred Heart back in 1987, taught high school & was instrumental in establishing their transportation system, he also drove bus for the school for many years. His funeral mass is slated for next Tuesday, 10am, at the church.
