A high school valedictorian with a full-ride scholarship to CMU, has died. 18 year old Kristina Rose Garafalo was involved in a head-on crash, late Friday night on US-10. She was travelling on US-10 EB when she was struck by an 06 Chevy Equinox that was headed the wrong way. Midland County Sheriff’s Office reports she died at the scene.
