Pantera‘s bassist, Rex Brown tied the knot after being in love with his girlfriend for almost 40 years.
Though the wedding was in June, the two of them just announced it. He popped the question to Elena Henrard last winter and they got married in Spain. It was a small ceremony, without guests.
When he announced their nuptials, he wrote online: “Some days are diamonds, some days are rocks. But this day below made me so full of gratitude, it cannot be explained in font.”
The couple say they fell in love in 1984, were apart, then reunited in 2011 and have been together ever since. They live in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Pantera is currently touring North America headlining shows and playing festivals. They will also support Metallica on a massive North American stadium tour this year and next.
