Ratt’s Juan Croucier plans to relaunch his solo band this fall. He told Bass Musician Magazine, that he had planned to earlier, but Covid got in the way.
The bassist said, “I know that there are musicians that sort of say, ‘Well, look, if I can’t tour on this level, I’d rather just stay home with my wife and kids.’ And I understand that. But I try to find a balance, no matter where.”
He explained that from this point on, he wants music to be rewarding and intends to release a lot of new tracks in the future.
He spoke of his love of music and said, “It’s one of those things where once it’s in your blood, that’s it.”
For four years, Croucier played with Dokken and during about a year-and-a-half of that time, he simultaneously played with Ratt.
He’s had various incarnations of his own band for nearly 30 years.
