Pop icon Madonna was hospitalized and placed in serious condition over the weekend after being found unresponsive. Sources say the “Vogue” legend was “intubated for at least one night” but is now awake and alert.
Insiders say Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon was by the singer’s side throughout the ordeal, and Madonna’s manager Gary Oseary, updated the public on her condition. The rep reported that Madonna “developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several-day stay in the ICU.” But Oseary also reported in his social media post that “A full recovery is expected.”
