Mt Pleasant city commissioners on Monday decided to not revive a former housing program that didn’t deliver. One of the city commissions’ housing goals this year was to increase home ownership opportunities but a program that ran from 2009 to 2016 isn’t the route, largely because it didn’t appear to have much of an impact on home purchases.
