The cause of a fire that broke out last Tuesday at the Fair Salvage on E. Grass Lake Road South of Clare has been determined.  Clare Fire Chief Jim Chapman says it was a spark from a piece of equipment. Workers were moving scrap metal at the yard when it started. He thinks the spark ignited car parts, gasoline or oil that was amongst the scrap metal.
