A road worker was struck & killed by a vehicle while directing traffic through a construction zone near Lansing. The 70 year old man was struck mid-afternoon on Thursday in LeRoy Township.  The man had to be removed from underneath the vehicle and transported to the hospital where he died. The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries. This accident remains under investigation.
